It is important for parents to feel prepared and empowered when advocating for their children in IEP meetings. This is why we offer a consultation session to review with parents the IEP draft and provide recommendations for ensuring neurodiversity affirming, strength-based approaches are being utilized in the programming proposed by the school team. IEP draft review and recommendations for advocacy/accommodation are completed in advance of consultation and billed for 30 minutes. Then, you meet virtually for a 30-minute consultation to discuss the findings, recommendations, and answer any questions.
