Step into a world of imagination, strategy, and storytelling! MythQuest is a four-day summer experience designed for creative kids who love fantasy, characters, and problem-solving. With social-emotional guidance from a licensed school psychologist and gameplay led by expert game masters, MythQuest offers more than just fun—it’s a journey in teamwork, self-awareness, and storytelling.
Hosted by Root & Spark Education, this camp supports every learner as they step into an epic, collaborative adventure.
Session One – Heroes Awaken
Jun 30, 2025
Get to know your fellow adventurers, learn the basics of tabletop gameplay, and create your own character with a backstory, strengths, and special traits.
Session Two – Into the Realm
Jul 1, 2025
Begin your journey! Embark on a shared story full of magical challenges, hidden clues, and choices that shape the world around you.
Session Three – Allies & Adversaries
Jul 2, 2025
Join forces with your group to navigate obstacles, solve puzzles, and develop strategies together. Teamwork makes or breaks your quest!
Session Four – Legends Live On
Jul 3, 2025
Finish your campaign with a final quest and celebrate your heroic journey. Reflect on lessons learned, big wins, and story highlights.

Who is this camp best for?
MythQuest is perfect for kids ages 9–13 who enjoy stories, creativity, fantasy games, or collaborative play. No prior D&D experience is needed.
Does my child need to bring anything?
Nope! All materials are provided. Just bring water, a snack if needed, and a willingness to play and participate.
Can parents stay during the session?
These are drop-off sessions (due to room size requirements), but you’re welcome to stay at the library. We’ll have clear pickup/drop-off instructions before camp starts.
Is this suitable for neurodiverse kids?
Absolutely. Root & Spark Education is neurodiversity-affirming. We welcome all learners and provide a structured, supportive, and inclusive environment.
